 I don't have too much to say tonight other than I joined a gym this morning. Time to work out until I feast on Christmas! Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Oxblood

Oxblood is quickly becoming my favorite color this season. In fact, I think it's becoming everyone's favorite color.
Even Mr. Gosling has jumped on board!

Oxblood is the perfect color because it goes with almost anything(but I like it best with black), and it can be worn in the form of clothing, accessories, nail polish, or lipstick. So I decided the other day I would jump on trend and wear the fall favorite. 

I've had this Eddie Bauer jacket for a long time and have never worn it, mostly because I've never particularly liked it. But it was actually really cute and really warm! And my nail polish(Bahama Mama by Essie) just happened to match, which made me really happy.

This afternoon, I met a friend of mine for lunch at Bank Street and tried their turkey spinach wrap which was super good! I also returned my Eno and got one that was a bit bigger. Yay!

PJ Day

Today I rolled out of bed at the crack of dawn to write a paper, only to get to school and realize that not only did my professor decide not to assign it, but I was not required to go to class and therefore could have slept in. Oh well, at least I get the rest of the week off. Anyways, when I say rolled out of bed, I mean literally. Leggings and a tee shirt dress is as close to pajamas as I will ever wear in public. I think the boots and jacket make it look less pajama-like though. Oh and I promise I brushed my hair at some point during the day.

Scarfless

The picture you see above was the only semi-usable picture today has produced. Needless to say I did not have it together today. After sleeping ten minutes past my alarm(which is set to ten minutes later than it needs to be), my best friend Hannah had to call me to make me wake up. After taking a quick shower and putting on the least amount of makeup that is still considered socially acceptable, I went to meet her for coffee. After meeting her and commenting on how cute her scarf was, I realized that I forgot my black infinity scarf that I had planned to wear with this. So here you see my scarfless outfit, tangly hair, and mostly bare face. I think I get bonus points though because my sleeves are rolled The J. Crew Way.

Nautical Wednesday

Today was actually cold. Like REALLY cold. So I pulled out a blazer and a scarf and deemed it Nautical Wednesday. I have been running around like a crazy person for the last two weeks, and I'm pretty much ready for a vacation(Is it Thanksgiving break yet?). This Friday I'm heading up to Atlanta for a marketing conference, and I'm pretty excited about that. Mostly my week has consisted of school, work, cross country, and more school.

What I Wore Wednesday

Hello there! I have decided to link with  The Pleated Poppy  for What I Wore Wednesday. Today I wore my military jacket for the second time this week. I'm just in love. I struggle with not wearing it every day of my life actually. I paired it with all black, and you can't really see in the picture, but my boots have gold studs on them to match the studs on my bag. It was really too hot to be wearing a jacket, and I was sweating underneath there, but it looked cute! I'm ready for cold weather to get here, so I can wear jackets everyday.

Scarves, Sparkles, and Splashes

Happy Fall!

So I finally got a military jacket which just so happens to be one of Kendi's 10 Fall Essentials! And what goes with military jackets and fall better than pumpkins? Nothing, that's what. I have searched high and low for a pumpkin patch, and finally found one less that fifteen minutes out of town. The people were really nice and let us take pictures in their patch. Oh, and I got two baby pumpkins! Happy fall!
